Review: Before I owned this hand planer i was fairly certain I had few if any uses for one. Thta has all changed. I might as well be planing the stubble off my face every morning! Lately I have trimmed stud faces, door bottoms, cabinet doors, and a couple other random jobs. I like how confident i can be in the precise cut adjustment which ranges between 1/32\" and 3/32\". it also hasn't bogged down on me yet. With that said I haven't challenged it fully by putting it through a deep 3/32\" hardwood cut yet. I bet it would fair ok if the rest of scorecard is any indication. P.S. it puts off a lot of dust, so if you plan on using it indoors be sure to purchase the bag or commit to using a vacuum with it or else...

Review: This thing is awesome! I have been using for all sorts of stuff. I never knew how much i would use it by the way. but it is so easy to use and powerful I don't ever hesitate to bring it out. It is very easy to adjust to just the right depth. I've gotten into just skimming the tops of painted boards. I know the paint isn't good for the blades, but such is life. It's got a competitive price tag too.
Pros: cuts any direction i choose including knots, powerful, easy to control, price isn't bad either
