Review: This is another of Delta's tools that has clearly suffered from their push to have their products manufactured in China. The design of the tool would produce a stellar disc grinder if it was manufactured within tolerances and with quality parts. Unfortunately this is not the case. The castings are all quite rough, the knobs and plastic parts are the same story. It is kind of depressing to see that Delta has come to this in order to compete with their price which reinforces the idea that they do have some good engineers working for them just not enough money in their manufacturing process. This disc grinder can be good if you are willing to put in the time and effort to refine the machining and replace some cheap parts. Otherwise keep shopping

Review: It's a shame that it has come to the point where you know the design of the tool is good, but you just have to pray that you get a tool that is manufactured within tolerances. Mine was not. It looked good from across the shop, but when you used it, you knew it was rushed out of a production line without the inspections it needed. Also, the parts were not great quality. I found plastic where plastic should not be. Needless to say i returned this disc sander and am currently in search for a superior tool and manufacturer.
